Description:
Muzart Music and Art School is looking for a Guitar teacher, to join our growing school and team and be part of our success.
We hire our staff as part time employees (we pay CPP, EI, Vac Pay and Stat Holiday Pay). We are looking for someone that is fun, energetic to join us.
The successful candidate will:
- Have or be in the process of completing a music undergrad degree
- Experience is an asset but not a must
- Excellent communication skills in order to relay information to parents
- The ability to work independently and set up own lesson plans

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students’ skill levels and interests in guitar playing.
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to enhance students’ musical abilities and understanding of guitar techniques.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression among students.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
- Utilize classroom management strategies to maintain a focused and productive atmosphere during lessons.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the diverse needs of students, including those with early childhood education backgrounds.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months
Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
