EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft computer systems and MS Office Suite
  • Strong instructional design skills; ability to create role-specific training
  • Skilled in delivering engaging, interactive sessions in-person and virtually, with proficiency in e-learning platforms, LMS, and virtual meeting tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom)
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experienced in leading small groups with strong team-building, mentoring, and staff development abilities
  • Skilled at multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time efficiently in dynamic environments
Responsibilities
  • Partner with regional leaders and L&D team to develop region-specific training.
  • Learn program design principles and processes.
  • Acquire job-specific knowledge through reference guides and subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Develop training materials and resources tailored to Gulf Coast regional needs.
  • Equip staff with the skills and knowledge necessary to meet or exceed performance goals.
  • Deliver professional development sessions to internal EDSI team members and partners as needed
  • Oversee onboarding, create training plans, facilitate learning to ensure new hires are equipped for success.
  • Follow processes for developing curriculum which includes needs analysis and SME meetings
  • Facilitate and organize curriculum through EDSI’s LMS and other virtual learning tools
  • Develop training materials such as manuals, guides, e-learning modules, and presentation decks.
  • Incorporate adult learning principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Assess training needs by collaborating with leadership, managers, and operational front-line staff.
  • Instruct program participants when needed to support capacity efforts
  • Measure training effectiveness through surveys, quizzes, role-play observations, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze results and recommend improvements for training programs.
  • Keep training content current with industry regulations, policies, and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate training records for compliance and audit purposes using EDSI’s HRMS/LMS.
  • Manage training schedules, invitations, and attendance tracking.
  • Coordinate and assist with Learning and Development initiatives company wide
  • Assist in the development of career path training and leadership development initiatives.
  • Ensure that the organization’s resources are efficiently utilized
