Description Summary/Objective This position is responsible for the assembly of perforating guns specific to the customer requirements. Show up on time Load perforating guns per company policy Follow gun building procedures provided by Shop manager Maintains a clean work environment by cleaning multiple times throughout your shift. Follow proper hand tool and power tool policy Required Skills · Language Skills – ability to read and interpret documents such as safety manuals, operations instructions and policies/procedures; ability to write reports and simple correspondence and effective communicate/present information to groups of coworkers, customers or employees · Basic Math Skills – ability to apply mathematical concepts such fractions, ratios, percentages and proportions to practical situations · Reasoning Skills – ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form; ability to solve practical problems quickly and efficiently · Basic mechanical aptitude Required Knowledge · Basic understanding of tools being assembled. Supervisory Responsibility No direct reports. Work Environment The performance of this position will require exposure to hazardous conditions in a shop environment, which may require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields, safety boots/footwear and hearing protection. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Employee is also required to lift certain components and supplies related to their job function. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, as scheduled. There may be times when the work week extends to Sat/Sun based on needs of the business. This change in schedule will be communicated in advance Travel Travel is less than 10% of schedule and is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected in special circumstances.
