The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced 5”/54 and 5”/62-Caliber MK 45 MOD 2 and 4 Gun Mount Subject Matter Expert to join our innovative team developing cutting-edge training solutions for the Navy. As part of our diverse group of Instructional Designers, 3D Animators, Graphic Specialists, Unity Developers, and military veterans, you’ll provide crucial expertise for modernizing the 5” Gun Mount course under the Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) program. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a passion for advancing naval aviation training.

Responsibilities:

  • Review Government Furnished Information and technical publications.
  • Translate aviation terminology, procedures, and operations for the development teams.
  • Review all training content and provide technical input.
  • Support design meetings.
  • Review drawings and 3D images to validate accuracy.
  • Test all training content, to include complex simulations.
  • Maintain a fresh, broad, and imaginative view of the learning content.
  • Collaborate effectively with government and military staff with little supervision.
  • Assist with product progress reporting, scheduling, and stakeholder interface.
