Body Shop Paint Prepper or Body Shop Painter Helper is a vital support role responsible for preparing vehicles for the refinishing process. Duties: Surface Preparation: Sanding down repaired areas, applying body filler, and masking off windows and trim to ensure clean paint lines. Paint Support: Assisting with paint mixing, moving vehicles into the spray booth, and unmasking panels after the topcoat is applied. General Shop Support: Sweeping floors, organizing tools, and assisting with vehicle teardowns or reassembly as assigned. Ensure all tasks meet company standards and expectations.
