You will provide day-to-day support on the gym floor, maintain equipment, and ensure members have everything they need for an enjoyable fitness experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all fitness areas, including gym floor, studio, and locker rooms. Perform regular equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance needs. Replenish towels, cleaning supplies, and other amenities as needed. Enforce club rules and etiquette, ensuring a respectful and safe training space. Provide basic guidance on machine usage when appropriate (without offering detailed training plans). Assist with setup and breakdown of group fitness classes or special events. Encourage a welcoming and supportive environment for all fitness levels. What we are looking for... A successful Gym Attendant for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You’ll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success. Previous cleaning experience in a gym, health club, or hospitality environment preferred Passion for fitness, health, and wellness Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and a friendly, proactive attitude Ability to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical Requirements: Must be over the age of 18 Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by hand Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
