LIFEGUARD / GYM ATTENDANT – HMAS WATSON

Watsons Bay, NSW | Full-Time, 38 hrs/week |
️ Monday to Friday, 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM | Baseline Security Clearance Required (or willing to obtain)
Join BGIS in a rewarding and active role as a Lifeguard / Gym Attendant based at HMAS Watson. You’ll be part of a supportive team delivering essential wellbeing services to the defence community in a structured and safety-first environment.

• Monitor gym and pool areas to ensure the safety of all users
• Perform First Aid and emergency response when needed
• Open and close the gym, ensuring cleanliness and readiness
• Support Physical Training Instructors (PTIs) with setup and equipment
• Manage bookings, check IDs, and assist with member sign-ins
• Maintain loan equipment and manage inventory
• Report maintenance issues and contribute to stocktakes
• Work independently while ensuring compliance with safety protocols
