SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Relevant Gym/Training qualification is an advantage.
• Possess strong knowledge of fitness and exercise including exercise types.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, muscles and movement.
• Proven exemplary guest service skills.
• Strong and varied knowledge of gym and pool equipment
• Knowledge of Point of Sale systems
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Demonstrate the correct way to use exercise equipment to members
• Monitor the misuse and maintenance of gym equipment
• Ensure the gym is clean and free of health and safety hazards
• Deliver exercise classes and workshops
• Develop personal exercise plans for members
• Monitor clients progress and adapt programs as needed.
• Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the gym and pool are maintained to a high standard at all times.
• Carry out pool testing and other facility checks
• Deal with customers in regard to the sale of goods and services through the till system
• Ensure that all customer, member and clients personal information remain strictly confidential at all times
