Description

The Department of Parks & Recreation (DPR) is seeking multiple temporary Gymnastics Assistants to assist Instructors and work with children of all ages, adults, and instructors in our Gymnastics Program [https://www.arlingtonva.us/Government/Departments/Parks-Recreation/Programs/Sports/Gymnastics]. These roles serve across our program assisting the Recreation Class programs. Candidates in these roles assist in serving Arlington County’s community by offering safe, fun, and quality gymnastics classes for all. Join our well-known and amazing team! Our successful, well-established program offers gymnastics to both boys and girls, from parent-tot classes, through preschool and higher-level classes based on the USA Gymnastics (USAG) programs. Specialty programs include camps, birthday parties, special events, teen classes, adapted classes, and adult classes. Arlington Gymnastics also offers USA Gymnastics Xcel competitive teams and USAG Development Program competitive teams for boys and girls.

Responsibilities

Assist instructors in delivering safe and quality gymnastics classes for children and adults of all levels. Support various programs including recreational classes, competitive teams, camps, and special events.
