Job Summary
We are seeking a Gymnastics Coach or Coach Helper (age 18+) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching and sharing knowledge and have a desire to either learn to coach gymnastics or continue with their coaching development.
This role involves working under the supervision of a qualified gymnastics coach and offers opportunities to develop coaching skills and potentially qualify as a gymnastics coach or to progress existing coaching qualifications.
Our staff foster the development of our Members and ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
Duties
- Take part in regular coaching sessions, focusing on skill development, technique, and performance enhancement.
- Assist in monitoring the progress of each gymnast, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
- Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to during training sessions to minimise risks of injury.
- Help with club events.
- Collaborate with other coaches to create a cohesive training environment.
Qualifications
- Background in Gymnastics - either as a coach or gymnast.
- Desire to educate and motivate gymnasts of varying ages and skill levels.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
