JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate young athletes. This role involves developing gymnastics skills, fostering a positive environment, and ensuring the safety of all participants during training sessions. This would take place in a Primary school in Wisborough Green RH17 DAYS/ TIMES TBC.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in gymnastics or related disciplines.
  • Strong teaching abilities with the capacity to adapt coaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with athletes of all ages.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes while instilling discipline and respect for the sport.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and best practices within gymnastics training environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about gymnastics and eager to make a difference in the lives of young athletes through effective coaching and mentorship.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics training sessions for various skill levels.
  • Teach fundamental gymnastics techniques, including tumbling, balance beam, and vaulting.
  • Assess each athlete’s progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
  • Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes teamwork and personal growth.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed during practice sessions to prevent injuries.
  • Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other staff members regarding progress and any concerns.
