Description
·         Teach classes/programs based on the YMCA’s Sport Philosophy. ·         Incorporate the YMCA’s mission of developing healthy mind, body, and spirit into programs.    ·         Ability to supervise 8-9 students with control, enthusiasm and proper safety precautions. ·         Ability to demonstrate basic gymnastics skills (forward roll, backward roll, running and jumping.) ·         Make sure all participants have a fun, enjoyable time.                          ·         Plan and lead classes/programs as scheduled. ·         Compile program records including attendance, questionnaires, evaluations, accident/incident reports, and incentive plans. ·         Attend all staff meetings.                                            Qualifications ·         Must be at least 16 years of age. ·         Knowledgeable with the USAG skill progressions ·         Gymnastics coaching experience. ·         Ability to work with people of all ages. ·         Strong verbal and written communications skills. ·         Must be mature, enthusiastic and caring. ·         Must have current CPR/AED certification within 60 days of employment.
