Responsibilities:

• Deliver gymnastics or trampoline sessions as part of our recreational programme
• Provide individualized coaching to help athletes improve their technique and performance
• Create a positive and motivating training environment for athletes
• Monitor and track athlete progress and provide feedback for improvement
• Ensure the safety of athletes during training sessions
• Collaborate with other coaches to coordinate the use of apparatus
• Work under the supervision of more senior coaches

Qualifications:

• Previous experience coaching or participating is required
• British Gymnastics certified, formal coach training (Helpers award, L1 or above or activity instrcutor)
• Understanding of gymnastics techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire athletes
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

Candidates must have conducted formal British Gymnastics coach training in any discipline and be willing to complete training in additional discipline(s) if required. Pay rate is dependant on qualifications.
The role can be part time, as little as 2 hours per week with more regular hours available to the right candidate(s). Evening and weekend work is required as most of our coaching occurs outside of school time. All of our adult staff must have the flexibility to carry out additional roles, such as working on reception and party supervision as required. Full training will be provided
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS check and referencing as part of our safer recruitment procedures.
