● Hysterectomy: Removal of the uterus, often performed for conditions like fibroids, endometriosis, or cancer. ○ Total Hysterectomy: Removal of the uterus and cervix. ○ Subtotal Hysterectomy: Removal of the uterus but leaving the cervix intact. ● Oophorectomy: Removal of one or both ovaries, often due to ovarian cancer or cysts. ● Laparoscopic Ovarian Cystectomy: Minimally invasive removal of cysts on the ovaries using a small incision. ● Myomectomy: Surgical removal of uterine fibroids while preserving the uterus. ● D&C (Dilation and Curettage): Scraping of the uterine lining to treat abnormal bleeding, miscarriage, or to collect tissue for diagnostic purposes. ● Tubal Ligation: Sterilization procedure where the fallopian tubes are cut, tied, or blocked to prevent pregnancy. ● Pelvic Floor Repair: Surgery to treat pelvic organ prolapse or urinary incontinence by repairing muscles or ligaments. ● Endometrial Ablation: A procedure to destroy the lining of the uterus to treat heavy menstrual bleeding. ● Cervical Cone Biopsy (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure - LEEP): Removal of abnormal tissue from the cervix to treat precancerous lesions or cervical cancer. ● Vaginal Rejuvenation Surgery: Surgical procedures aimed at tightening the vaginal canal or improving vaginal appearance, often for post-childbirth or age-related changes.
