The Gyrocopter Pilot will be responsible for delivering safe gyrocopter tour experience. It involves direct guest interaction, ensuring every flight reflects the brand’s commitment to safety and thrill. Responsibilities Core Responsibilities: (Provide a clear and detailed overview of the key tasks and duties associated with the position- 5 to 10 key responsibilities depending on the nature and seniority of the position Conduct safe gyrocopter flights for recreational, sightseeing, or tourism purposes, prioritizing passenger safety, comfort, and satisfaction. Escort passengers to the aircraft, deliver clear safety briefings, and ensure confidence and comfort throughout the experience. Perform detailed pre-flight inspections in line with the Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM) and Pilot Operating Handbook (POH); verify aircraft serviceability before each flight. Evaluate technical and operational readiness of the gyrocopter, identifying discrepancies and taking corrective action before departure. Monitor weather and meteorological data prior to flights, and determine flight viability based on current conditions and operational limits. Maintain accurate aircraft technical logs, operational records, and regulatory documentation; ensure compliance with aviation authority requirements. Report technical defects promptly and coordinate with maintenance teams (or perform maintenance directly where authorized) to return the aircraft to service. Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance activities including inspections, servicing, engine tune-ups, fluid/oil changes, filter replacement, tire/wheel tasks (as applicable), and general system checks. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, replace parts/components as required, and conduct functional checks after rectification. Verify airworthiness/operational performance through appropriate ground runs and test flights (as required/authorized), adjusting controls and systems as needed. Refuel the gyrocopter with the correct fuel type and quantity, following safety procedures and documentation requirements. Maintain aircraft cleanliness and appearance between flights, ensuring a professional presentation and operational readiness. Keep tools, shop equipment, and ground support equipment operational by following instructions, troubleshooting issues, performing preventive care, and arranging repairs when needed. Manage parts and consumables: maintain inventory, place orders, verify receipts, and control costs by evaluating parts/service options (including warranty use where applicable). Maintain service and repair records clearly and consistently, ensuring traceability of work performed. Stay current with technical publications, manufacturer updates, and training/educational opportunities relevant to gyrocopter operations and maintenance. Support overall maintenance, safety, and organization objectives by completing related tasks as required. Qualifications Preferred Educational Qualifications And Professional Certifications Valid Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) license Experience Minimum 100 hours flight on Gyrocopter type.
