Responsibilities

OTHER KEY TASKS INCLUDE:

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to ensure best practice H&S standards.
  • Understand the business environment to anticipate safety issues and associated risks and provide practical solutions.
  • Coach and lead quality learning reviews with shared learnings and corrective actions to enhance systems and processes aimed at enabling successful work.
  • Support sites permit to work improvement and use.
  • Carry out trend analysis for the site and undertake site assessments.
  • Ensure the H&S management systems are up to date and regulatory changes are adhered to.

TO MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Strong technical health and safety expertise ideally from a manufacturing or high-risk environment.
  • Exposure to process safety.
  • Ability to instil trust across a diverse workforce and establish meaningful relationships with stakeholders.
  • Preferably hold a relevant health and safety certificate or diploma (NEBOSH or equivalent).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment plus being adaptable to change and ambiguity.
  • Exposure to hazardous substances management and legislation is desirable.
  • Exposure in hazardous risk assessments and HS event plans.
