JOB SUMMARY:

· Looking for team members who are familiar with the Oil and Gas Industry and are comfortable with explaining and educating workers of the hazards associated with working around H2S.
· Willing and able to participate in site safety meetings and the planning of a rescue in the case of an H2S event.
· Experienced in safety support for well servicing, this includes flow back operations and drilling rig safety support. Knowledge of setting up and using gas detection equipment (OTIS), cascade systems along with competence in the donning and doffing of both SCBA’s (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) and SABA’s (Supplied Air Breathing Apparatus).
· Experience with hauling trailers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum Class 5 Drivers License with clean Driver’s Abstract, must provide an Abstract within 30 days prior to hiring date.
· Grade 12 or Equivalent
· Current Enform H2S Alive Certification
· Current First Aid
· Current Confined Space Entry
· Common Safety Orientation (available online through Energy Safety Canada)
· Firemaster will provide employee with company specific WHMIS and TDG training as well as a Driver Improvement Program, Fatigue Management and Hours of Service Training for clarity on logbook completions.

Responsibilities

· Take reasonable care to protect their health and safety and that of other workers by following Firemasters safety policies & procedures, as well as government and industry regulations.
· Drive company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
· Maintain vehicles in excellent working order and keep vehicles clean at all times.
· Be punctual.
· Safe operation of all other Firemaster equipment.
· Perform duties in the shop and on location as required by Firemasters policies and procedures.
· Display professional work habits in the shop and on location.
· Completion of daily paper work, such as vehicle Pre-Trip Inspections, Safety Meeting Checklists, ERP’s, Personnel on Lease head counts, site specific orientations and keeping record of personnel’s tickets and expiry dates.
