Are you passionate about open-source communities and eager to shape the future of interactive education? If so, H5P Group are looking for a Community Manager with experience contributing to and fostering open-source projects to nurture and grow our vibrant H5P community. As a Community Manager, you will be a pivotal figure in ensuring the success and sustainability of our H5P project by engaging, supporting, and empowering our user base, contributors, and stakeholders.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Community Manager to join our team, responsible for nurturing and growing our H5p.org community. As a Community Manager, you will be a pivotal figure in ensuring the success and sustainability of our H5P project by engaging, supporting, and empowering our user base, contributors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • A deep understanding of open-source communities, including contributing to or managing such projects.
  • Proven experience fostering and growing online communities, especially within the open-source space.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
  • Experience organizing events like webinars, hackathons, or conferences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in user-facing roles or technical support.
  • A strategic mindset for community engagement, supported by an ability to analyze data and adapt accordingly.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for education, technology, and open-source collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

THE ROLE WILL BE PERMANENTLY WORKING FROM ONE OF OUR 3 OFFICES IN NORWAY (TROMSØ, OSLO, OR BERGEN).
