WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR FCMC Our Habilitative Support Paraprofessionals have the vital task of working with adults and children with developmental disabilities to provide services intended to improve their lives. Of their important responsibilities, specific ones include: Following programs written by Developmental Specialists to teach clients developmental skills Collecting data and documenting services after every visit Facilitating clients’ integration into the community by providing support and assistance during social activities Potentially providing personal care for clients, including toileting, oral hygiene care, and eating assistance Requirements Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old Must have high school diploma or GED Must have six months of supervised experience with children with disabilities Essential Job Functions: Regular and predictable attendance Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit Required to lift or carry up to 50 pounds Must submit to COVID-19 testing as required by CMS and other regulatory agencies according to FCMC policy Have full COVID-19 vaccination (some exemptions allowed) The Location: Located in southeast Idaho, Franklin County is surrounded by the beautiful Rocky Mountains, giving ample opportunity for outdoor recreation.
