Description To maintain quality assurance/HACCP programs along with new HARPC/VFD, FSMA programs that will meet all requirements for customers, the FDA and any audits requested by the end user. Requirements HACCP/Feed Quality Assurance Coordinator Maintain the HACCP/HARPC, VFD, and FSMA programs to meet FDA regulations Work with the HACCP team at every location to cover day to day requirements of the program Work with HACCP/HARPC training program for all feed department employees Follow and comply with all laws and regulations established by the program (FDA) Work with Operations Manager to streamline operations at all mills Input data and record for future analysis Maintain, create and train standard SOPs for all mills and employees Set weekly/monthly HACCP/HARPC meetings with management and also meetings with all feed employees Perform audits with Feed Operations Managers, Internal auditors, annual recertification auditors and annual facility refresher training Assist in special projects when needed Supervision Supervision involves establishing and communicating operational goals and results to employees, staffing the location and delegating the workload, actively supporting employee growth, upholding cooperative policies, and supervising and performing tasks to increase efficiency and productivity. Actively support employee growth Work with HR and Safety to develop annual training needed for employees Discuss performance with each employee and perform formal annual reviews Stimulate and develop positive morale and team spirit that leads to high productivity Actively work to increase personal skills and knowledge Monitor employee retention and provide employee development programs that allows CFE to remain a destination employer Safety and Compliance Maintain the HACCP program to meet FDA regulations Follow and comply with all laws and regulations established by the program (FDA) Uphold all cooperative policies Attend all employee safety meetings, etc. held as required or scheduled in conjunction with location or Safety Director Other Duties Perform other duties as assigned by management Receive favorable feedback from all department managers when assigned to perform or assist with other duties and responsibilities in those departments Attitude consistently mirrors the company image and promotes fellow employee teamwork Present a professional image through words, actions, and personal appearance Basic Qualifications 2 plus years of HACCP experience or in a related area Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel software Excellent oral and written communication skills Detailed organizational skills Excellent customer service skills Possess strong commitment to team environment dynamics with the ability to contribute expertise and follow leadership directives at appropriate times Self-motivated Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and demonstrate good attention to detail Possess strong commitment to team environment dynamics with the ability to contribute expertise and follow leadership directives at appropriate times Physical Demands To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
