As a self employed Hackney Carriage Driver, you’ll play a vital role in transporting passengers safely and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. Whether it’s a short trip across town or a longer journey, you’ll represent Kwik Cars Ltd with professionalism and a helpful attitude.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Hackney Carriage Driver Licence (issued by the relevant local authority; not essential as we can support obtaining this)
• Full UK driving licence (with minimal endorsements)
• Good knowledge of the local area, roads, and traffic patterns
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Own Hackney Carriage vehicle or option to rent through Kwik Cars

• Pick up passengers from taxi ranks, street hails, or bookings via dispatch
• Provide friendly, safe, and reliable transport to various destinations around the Catterick and Richmond area
• Assist passengers with luggage or mobility needs when required
• Keep your vehicle clean, presentable, and roadworthy at all times
• Handle fare payments and issue receipts when requested
• Follow all relevant transport laws, licensing regulations, and company policies
• Maintain communication with the dispatch team through our driver system
