Job Description We are seeking a talented and creative Casual Hair and Makeup Artist to join our high-performing team in Queensland. Your primary focus will be to deliver exceptional styling and makeup application for our on-air talent, ensuring a polished and professional look across our iconic shows and brands. Day to day you will: Execute diverse makeup briefs tailored to specific lighting and technical settings. Style hair for a variety of on-air talent, guests, and executives to ensure a camera-ready finish. Provide professional hair and makeup consultations to ensure a polished look for all talent. Maintain rigorous hygiene standards and manage department stock levels. Stay ahead of contemporary beauty trends to ensure modern, high-quality results. Collaborate across departments, including News and NRL, to meet live production needs. What you'll bring: Prior experience as a hair and makeup artist within a fast-paced environment. Strong technical hair styling skills; while formal hairdressing qualifications are not required, they are highly regarded. Artistic and creative flair paired with an exceptional eye for detail. Excellent verbal communication skills to build rapport with diverse stakeholders. A collaborative mindset and the ability to adapt quickly to changing live briefs. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing creative team. Background in the entertainment or media industry is a plus. Availability for casual work, with the flexibility to adapt to the changing schedules and requirements of a live broadcast environment.
