The Vanity Room is a cozy, upscale boutique salon in the heart of downtown Bernardsville. We are a small, three-stylist team dedicated to providing the latest techniques and services in a warm, calming, and home-like atmosphere. Our mission is to deliver both exceptional results and a relaxing experience for every client.
We are seeking a responsible, friendly, and motivated assistant/receptionist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a professional yet welcoming environment, values time management, and is eager to grow within the salon industry.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for
• Manage appointment scheduling, phone calls, and check-ins/check-outs
• Assist stylists with daily tasks including light cleaning, laundry, stocking products, and preparing refreshments
• Maintain a tidy, organized, and relaxing salon atmosphere
• Support smooth salon operations by keeping track of time flow and client transitions

What We’re Looking For:

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with strong time management skills
• Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
• A team player eager to learn and contribute to the success of the salon
• Prior salon experience preferred but not necessary, full on-the-job training provided
