We are seeking a talented and passionate Braiding Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair braiding styling techniques, and customer service.
You will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services while creating a welcoming environment for clients. Your expertise in various styling methods, along with your ability to connect with customers, will contribute to the overall success of our salon.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license is required.
• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist specialising in braids with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
• Proficiency in salon software systems such as MINDBODY is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Experience in retail sales within a salon environment is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting while also managing individual responsibilities.

  Pay: £16,000.00-£43,000.00 per year

• Perform a variety of hair braiding services such as braid styles, canerows and general hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
• Maintain sanitation standards for tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
• Use salon software, including MINDBODY, for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
• Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to client requests and offering professional advice.
• Assist in retail sales by recommending products that enhance clients’ hair care routines and upselling services.
• Mentor junior stylists and assist with training on best practices in hairstyling and customer interaction.
• Stay updated on current trends in hair styling, color theory.
