You must have a current license to cut hair and have completed a barber training program. While we focus on men's hairstyles, you should be comfortable using a variety of hairstyling techniques for different customers. You must have strong communication and customer service skills; we want all of our customers to enjoy being in our barbershop and leave satisfied with their cut so that they become regular customers. Commission and salary-based. $250.00 sign-on bonus after 6 months of hiring. Barber Duties and Responsibilities * Greet clients as they arrive and offer them refreshments * Prep clients for their haircut and ask what type of styling they want * Cut and style clients' hair to their specifications * Engage in friendly conversation with clients * Keep your station, tools, and equipment sanitized and in good condition * Ensure you have the proper products in stock for future clients Barber Requirements and Qualifications * High school diploma or GED certificate * Must have an Iowa Barber license * Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills * Organizational and time-management abilities * Attention to detail * Be receptive to training and growth. * Be flexible. * Provide excellent hospitality.

Responsibilities

The Barber will greet clients, prep them for haircuts, and cut and style hair according to client specifications. Maintaining a clean and organized work station is also essential.
