The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Hairdresser to also support our team as a Salon Manager based on a full-time, 38 hours work a week, in our beautiful salon in Darwin.
Salary
$60,000 ~ $80,000 per year plus super

Duties and Responsibilities
· Provide full salon services, including hair cutting, shampooing, blow drying, colouring and styling
· Professional knowledge and experience for specialised scalp treatment and fixing damaged hair
· Maintain cleanliness of salon and your station
· Professional consultation with clients meeting up with their needs and wants
· Keep on top of current hair cutting and styling trends
· Help maintain adequate inventory of hair products and tools
· Ensure clients with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner
· Collect payments for salon services performed
· Provide training and mentoring as a salon manager/senior hairdresser
About you
· SHB30416 Certificate III in Hairdressing
· Professional work experience + 10 years
· Own portfolio with pictures and feedback
· Positive, open minded and can-do attitude
· Professionalism and attention to detail for all aspects
· Proficiency in a wide range of hair cutting and styling technique
· Able to demo a skill and experience on the interview day
· Expertise in hair colouring or perming, including the use of different products and tools
