About the role:

The Trustee for S & Y Jain Family Trust, trading as Sugar Me Beauty Professionals, is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and reliable Hairdresser to elevate its salon hair care and styling operations. This role is ideally suited to a proactive, hands-on professional possessing comprehensive technical hairdressing capabilities and the agility to thrive within a fast-paced, high-end salon environment. The position centers on managing client portfolios, maintaining optimal inventory control of premium styling and chemical products, ensuring the absolute quality and precision of all hair services, and delivering an unparalleled customer experience. The successful candidate will mentor and support junior salon staff, coordinate product procurement and visual merchandising displays, and actively drive retail and service sales performance while ensuring total operational efficiency and strict compliance with workplace health, safety, and industry regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Utilize precision scissors, professional clippers, and texturizing razors to deliver contemporary, high-quality haircuts customized to individual client preferences and facial structures.
• Execute therapeutic shampooing, deep-conditioning, and specialized scalp treatments using high-end salon formulations to optimize hair health and prepare clients for styling.
• Deliver expert hair and scalp assessments to provide tailored advice on luxury hair care, premium beauty products, and modern hairstyles that complement aesthetic enhancements
• Maintain a pristine salon environment by strictly sanitizing tools, sterilizing advanced instruments, and cleaning active work areas in total compliance with state salon health regulations.
• Clean, color, cut, and style premium hairpieces, extensions, and wigs to achieve seamless, high-end aesthetic transformations for cosmetic clients.
• Formulate and apply complex chemical solutions for advanced color techniques (foils, balayage), permanent waves, and hair straightening systems that align with modern cosmetic trends.
• Deliver high-standard hair styling and artistic updo designs with a strong focus on advanced female styling profiles, while managing generalized contouring services, specialized facial hair configurations, precise grooming, and detailing tailored to individual client requests.

What we are looking for

• A relevant qualification, preferably a Diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year of continuous experience working as a qualified Hairdresser
• Strong understanding of salon stock control, chemical inventory tracking, product waste reduction, and service cost management practices.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills, combined with effective client consultation abilities and daily booking column management.
• Strong commitment to maintaining elite standards of salon cleanliness, tool sterilization, chemical workplace safety, and premium customer service
