Our care home is situated in the east end of Glasgow and is an impressive custom built facility, which provides care for up to 60-residents.
We’re looking for a dedicated Hairdresser to join our care home team, where you’ll provide professional hair services that brighten the days of our residents and help them feel pampered and well-cared for.

As Hairdresser, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of our residents. Beyond just cutting and styling hair, you’ll be providing a much-needed touch of normality and comfort, helping our residents look their best and feel great in their day-to-day lives.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Hair Services: Provide a range of hair services, including cutting, blow-drying, and washing residents’ hair, ensuring each resident leaves your chair feeling refreshed and confident.
Salon Cleanliness: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency in the salon area, creating a welcoming and hygienic environment for all.
Equipment Care: Use salon equipment safely and effectively, performing regular maintenance to keep everything in top working order.
Policy Adherence: Have a strong understanding of care homes policies and procedures, ensuring your work aligns with the provided guidelines.
Confidentiality: Always maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding residents’ personal information.
Ongoing Training: Attend mandatory training sessions and any additional training organized by the Home Manager to keep your skills sharp and stay informed on best practices in health and safety.
Health & Safety: Be knowledgeable about relevant Health & Safety legislation, using PPE and other safety precautions as required to ensure a safe environment.
Chemical Knowledge: Understand the proper use of all chemicals in the salon, using them in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions to ensure safety and effectiveness.
