JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Tutor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and a strong desire to provide exceptional hairdressing teaching. As a Hair Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching at Levels 2 and 3 while ensuring a positive experience for all students. Your ability to communicate effectively and educate students about a career in the hair sector will be essential in building a successful programme.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A valid Level 3 hairdressing qualification
• A teaching qualification or interest in achieving one
• Proven experience as a Hair Tutor, preferably in a teaching environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate students about hair care and styling options.
• Experience working with young people is a definite advantage
• A passion for the industry with a keen eye for detail and creativity that you can share with students
• Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated
• Salary will be pro-rata for 2-4 days per week to be agreed, depending on qualifications and experience

  Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

• Provide professional teaching in all aspects of hair cutting, colouring, and styling services in line with the VTCT curriculum as required.
• Educate students on proper hair care techniques and styles
• Maintain a clean and organised salon environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling and techniques through continuous education.
• Build rapport with students by providing a fun and enthusiastic environment for them to learn.
• Assist in training or tutoring junior stylists or apprentices as needed, sharing your expertise in hairstyling techniques.
