The HBS Capability Centre Head – Poland leads the performance and delivery of services at our strategic centre in Poland. As a key member of the global HBS Leadership Team, this role is the main contact for stakeholders across Haleon. Lead all colleagues in the centre, focusing on talent, culture, delivery, compliance, facilities, and continuous improvement. Act as an HBS ambassador, building trusted partnerships with business and functional stakeholders. Drive the centre’s growth, ensuring it becomes a talent hub and operates as a fully integrated, multi-functional, digital organization. Lead end-to-end delivery, supporting Haleon’s 2030 ambitions and the ‘Win as One’ culture. Discharge duties as a Board Member of our Polish legal entity. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following… Strategy: Leadership and Planning Guide the implementation of HBS strategy at the Poland centre (600+ staff). Oversee performance, governance, and transparent reporting. Position HBS Poland as a talent destination and build future capabilities. Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize high-impact projects. People: Culture and Talent Embed the ‘Win as One’ culture, fostering a high-performance, inclusive environment. Drive talent attraction, retention, and engagement. Partner with HR and global leaders on talent management, learning, and succession planning. Support recruitment and development of senior talent. Process: Service Delivery Serve as the single point of contact for services delivered from the centre. Oversee daily service delivery, ensuring alignment with HBS plans and compliance with governance. Support change management and communication. Lead on facilities and infrastructure needs. Promote a culture of continuous excellence. Partnership: Stakeholder Engagement Build strong relationships with functions, business units, and regions. Act as the Voice of HBS to leadership and stakeholders. Ensure clear communication and transparency during growth and project execution. Apply HBS governance and share key metrics at leadership meetings. Risk: Management and Compliance Identify and mitigate risks related to the centre’s deliverables. Implement data-driven risk management strategies. Maintain and test the Business Continuity Plan. Uphold high standards of governance and reporting. Team: Leadership and Development Build and lead a high-performing leadership team with a clear charter. Invest in team development and career growth. Foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Contribute as a member of the HBS Leadership Team. Budget and Resource Management Shape and manage the centre’s budget. Monitor financial performance for annual and long-range planning. Coordinate with finance and procurement to ensure compliance and optimize resources. We're proud to operate hybrid working arrangement across all our sites globally, as the Centre Head it is expected that this leader is predominantly office-based to role model collaboration. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or relevant Master’s degree preferred. Formal leadership/management training. 15-20+ years in senior leadership, service delivery, and stakeholder management type roles. Proven experience setting up and maturing multi-functional, digital capability centres in Poland or similar markets. Leadership experience from functional roles outside of a capability centre environment. Global experience with diverse teams and stakeholders. CPG/FMCG experience is preferred. Poland in-country experience is essential. Strong operational planning and organizational skills. Ability to work in a matrixed environment. On-ground leadership and influence - must be able to lead and drive performance through influencing. Talent attraction, motivation, and development. Transition management and delivery. Proven track record of Continuous Improvement and Lean practices. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
