JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Half Way Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness of the work area and providing exceptional food & beverage service within our facility. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Under the supervision of the Senior Chef’s team, the halfway house attendant will be responsible for maintaining and preparing the food and beverage items available for members to purchase.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be Smart Serve certified
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues in English.
  • Follow all fire, health and safety regulations and laws governing Food and Beverage operations in Ontario.
  • Able to work without a phone while on duty. phones only available on staff breaks
  • must be legally allowed and able to drive a golf cart

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained, cleaning throughout the day as required
  • Stocking required food items for service. food items such as sandwich ingredients, chips and snacks, beers and other beverages.
  • Work cooperatively with other departments especially the Servers at the Creekside Patio, as well as Members of the kitchen staff
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Requisitioning daily supplies as needed each shift
  • Responsible for some production (sandwiches, hot-dogs, and sausages) of food products, as well as maintaining a clean safe environment.
  • Ensure any food products in the halfway house are stored properly and all areas of the halfway are clean, organized and presentable.
  • Able to maintain conversation and meet the members needs while they are visiting the halfway for food or beverages.
  • Adhere to and enforce proper safety, hygiene and sanitation practices to be followed by all staff.
  • Performs related tasks as requested by management.
