JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hammer Hand to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction tasks, demonstrating proficiency with hand and power tools. This role requires an individual who is physically fit and capable of heavy lifting, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Must have a CSCS card.
- Must have own transport and be able to travel to sites.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, roofing, plumbing, masonry, and electrical tasks is desirable.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is essential for executing various construction activities.
  • A strong ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently is required.
  • Candidates with a background in construction painting will be viewed favourably.   • Perform fabrication and assembly tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete various construction projects.
  • Assist in carpentry and joinery work, ensuring precision in measurements and cuts.
  • Engage in roofing activities, contributing to the installation and repair of roofing systems.
  • Conduct construction painting tasks to enhance the aesthetics of completed projects.
  • Support plumbing, masonry, and electrical work as needed, collaborating with other tradespeople on-site.
  • Adhere to safety protocols at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Participate in heavy lifting and material handling duties as required throughout the project lifecycle.
