Description JOB SUMMARY: The Hand Weaver works in a safe and efficient manner by performing hand weaving operations to produce products in accordance with safety, quality and projected company goals. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Maintain cleanliness in all working areas while performing duties Follow lead direction in production operation Works to produce products in accordance with safety, quality, & projected company goas as related to company expectations. Produce assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions. Complete station set up in accordance with style specifications. Inspect product on cycle and document findings as necessary Operate within standard operating procedures (WI’s) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA’s). Communicate with Lead & Engineering as necessary Notifies management of product discrepancies, station malfunctions and/or personal injuries. Maintain work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas. Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures. Meet goals & objectives. Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or General Educational Degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to Write simple correspondence. Effectively communicate in one on one situations with team members Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all unites of measure, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration and percent. Ability to read and understand a tape measure or ruler. Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Physical & manual dexterity Time management Organization and problem solving skills Ability to work well with others in a matrix team environment WORK REQUIREMENTS: PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
