Job Description
We are looking for a committed and multi skilled individual to join our supported housing team in the maintenance department.
We are looking for a technician who is able to complete small jobs on short notice, issues which are effecting the running of the property. The ideal candidate will need basic carpentry, plumbing skills (bathroom/kitchen repairs), knowledge of basic DIY, and the ability to assess other issues which may occur.
General repairs which come up frequently include the following:
- Repairing broken fire doors
- Changing thumb locks on doors
- Assessing and fixing leaks from sinks, toilets and baths
- Fixing broken light switches / electrical sockets
- Plastering / skimming / repairing any holes
- Fixing broken windows/handles
- General appliance repair
- Dropping furniture to and from properties
- Painting and decorating
