Fix-It-Pros is looking for a reliable, skilled Handyman to join our growing team. This role offers a hybrid compensation model that combines:
Here’s how it works: To begin with, you’ll be paid hourly for jobs that we’ve quoted internally. Hourly pay will also apply to jobs that are on larger project sites that will take several weeks to complete, such as garage rebuild or a bathroom remodel. Once you’ve been with the company for a few months, we will start to train you to quote your own jobs and then performance based-bay will apply to those jobs.
Here’s how that works: If a job is quoted for four hours and you complete it in two, you still earn your full 30% share. If it takes longer, your rate stays the same. This structure rewards efficiency without sacrificing quality. However, any warranty call-backs or rework are unpaid—just like the company doesn’t get paid—so doing it right the first time matters.
We use a simple 2-, 4-, and 8-hour billing model for most jobs. Initially, you’ll be assigned jobs we’ve quoted in-house. As you grow with us, you’ll start quoting your own work. For each assessment visit, you’ll earn 30% of the site visit fee, and we’ll train you to price jobs in a way that maximizes both value and your income.
