As part of our vision to transform housing services the Housing Needs & Homelessness Service has recently been redesigned. This is a crucial role working in our hostels team to ensure that our hostels are maintained to a compliant standard. The role also requires attending our residents’ homes to complete minor repairs.

• To complete minor repairs and works to common areas and voids of our hostels
• Carry out internal inspections of communal areas within hostels
• To ensure that all chutes are kept clear, and blockages are cleared promptly
• Keep all internal areas free from graffiti by either removing or reporting to the repairs contractor.
• Carry out weekly inspections of lights/lamps and replace as required.
