Handy Person Pay £12.60 per hour (salary £24,638 per annum) Permanent, Full time (37.5 hpw),working 9am -5pm Monday to Friday Based in Bodmin but also covering services in St Austell, Launceston, Bude, Newquay and other services in the county if required Home, a place where you belong We have a brilliant opportunity to join our fantastic Housing Management Team. You will be the multi skilled hands-on practical support that helps our colleagues deliver services to our customers. We work with customers who have Adult Social Care requirements or are homeless, across a mix of properties and grounds. As our handy person you’ll spend much of your time working across our services in the West of the County and on occasion helping in the East. Handle tasks like hanging curtain poles, moving furniture, touching up paint, changing washers, unblocking sinks, mowing lawns and clearing grounds. Carry out regular fire safety checks. Work with colleagues, contractors and customers. Liaise with Customer Service Centre and contractors to report and follow up on repairs outside your remit. You'll be based at St Nicholas House in Bodmin, Cornwall and travel around the properties in the East of the county mostly in St Austell, Launceston, Bude, Newquay and Bodmin.
