Exciting Opportunity: Handyman/Groundskeeper at Hotel Management & Consulting! About the Role: Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking a Handyman/Groundskeeper. We are seeking an experienced and reliable individual to assist with outdoor groundskeeping property maintenance and handyman tasks across multiple large-acre properties. This role involves a mix of mowing, landscaping, tree removal, and general outdoor upkeep. Locations: Edgerton, KS: 150 acres – mowing, dead tree removal Parker, KS: 160 acres – mowing, cutting and burning dead trees 199th & Antioch Area: Residential landscaping, mowing, and gardening Our Culture: We believe in a performance-based culture where hard work is balanced with respect for personal life. Primary Duties: * Mowing and maintaining large properties around 150–160 acres * Cutting down and clearing dead trees * Assisting with controlled burning of tree debris * Landscaping and gardening at a residential property * Performing general outdoor handyman tasks * Ensuring properties are clean, safe, and well-maintained * Other Duties as Assigned. Preferred Qualifications: * Prior experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor handyman work required * Experience operating mowing and land management equipment * Basic knowledge of plants, fertilizers, and irrigation techniques * Ability to safely cut and handle trees * Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions * Strong work ethic and ability to work independently * Other tasks as assigned. Physical Requirements: * Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy materials (often 50–100+ lbs) frequently. * Prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders throughout the day * Capacity to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, or snow. * Comfortable operating mowers, tractors, chainsaws, blowers, and other machinery * This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.   Hotel Management and Consulting, Inc. reserves the right to modify, change, or apply this job description in any way the company desires.
