POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman (Part-Time, On-Call) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support a variety of facility maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring our clients’ properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role offers flexibility, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work across multiple service areas.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in general repairs, maintenance, or handyman services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of safe work practices and ability to use hand/power tools.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to work on-call with varying schedules, including weekdays and weekends.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities
  • Perform minor repairs, installations, and general maintenance (e.g., drywall patching, painting, carpentry, light plumbing, and basic electrical work).
  • Conduct inspections and report property issues requiring attention.
  • Assist with seasonal property maintenance such as power washing, fixture replacements, and other handyman requests.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
  • Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor when working on client properties.
  • Travel to job sites across Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Tri-Cities, and Greater Vancouver.
  • Perform other duties as required to support property maintenance and client needs
