OVERVIEW
Must have at least 5 years of experience in multi-residential high-rise maintenance and suite turns, including plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, and countertop measurements and installation. You will be professional and courteous with an excellent work ethic. You must be a self-starter and able to work independently and in a team environment.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- changing and repairing faucets and toilets, clearing clogs, replacing pipes, faucet rough-in, and confidently locating leaks and other plumbing issues.
- Electrical work includes replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures, as well as identifying other issues as needed.
- Cabinetry, countertop, and closet door repairs and installation
-Complete suite turns.
-Assisting Superintendants with work orders and urgent issues.
- Fire & Life safety procedures and compliance tasks
- Provide excellent customer service and professionalism to residents & staff
- Maintaining building supplies and inventory
- Daily coordination & communication with the operations manager and management office
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Experience in a large high-rise rental property
Excellent in-suite maintenance and suite turn experience
WHMIS, Health & Safety practices & procedures
Building fire code compliance knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
