• Maintain proper and safe condition of all Plant, Plant Rooms, Equipment and Work areas.

• To carry out finishing to but not limited to the following type of work
• Maintain, repair, and clean all guest rooms, meeting rooms, and/or public spaces in accordance with the property room preventative maintenance procedures and standard guidelines.
• Take regular action to keep guest room and areas fully operable for guest comfort and safety and the work environment safe for fellow associates.
• Use your wits and technical abilities to solve problems and make repairs effectively and efficiently.
• Respond courteously to guest requests promptly and resolve matters to the guest’s satisfaction.
• Works closely with other departments to ensure prompt response to guest requests for services and repairs.
• Complete work order requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain all mechanical areas in an orderly and clean condition.
• Inspect public areas daily for any issues.
• Provide maintenance repairs to guestrooms, public areas and administrative offices.
• Maintain the Rooms Preventative Maintenance Program and consistently keep updated records on file.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and general cleaning of all surfaces in guest rooms as required, including inspecting/flipping mattresses, box springs, vacuuming behind and underneath furniture, spot cleaning carpets and upholstery, touch-up painting, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, ensuring that all hardware and appliances are present in the room and in working order, cleaning and replacing light

• Report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Install, Maintain, and Repair Items as directed.
• Perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls.
• To have good ability in the use of application methods such as (but not limited to):

• Masonry Have good judgment with colour tinting and matching.
• Ceiling & Wall putty application
• Furniture polishing
• Metallic painting
• Art Painting as required.
• Preparing painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint.
• Mixing, matching, and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces.
• Providing decorative and faux finishes as the project requires.
• Handling planning and prep work in an efficient manner.
• Preparing the surrounding area by covering it with cloth or plastic to prevent messes.
• Moving furniture and equipment as necessary to reach the entire surface of the project.
• Removing fixtures such as doorknobs and light switch covers.
• Taping off areas as needed.
• Applying paint, stain and other finishes to paint surfaces using paintbrushes, rollers, or sprayers
