Come on in and check them out! Job Description At Mercure Melbourne Doncaster, we are looking for a reliable and skilled Handyperson to support the maintenance and upkeep of our property. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and being part of a dynamic hospitality environment, we would love to hear from you. As a Handyperson, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotel’s facilities to the highest standards, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for both guests and team members. Key Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repair work across the property Attend to plumbing, painting, plastering, tiling, and minor mechanical repairs Assist with air conditioning maintenance and basic system checks Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner Support the team in maintaining high health & safety standards Identify and report any maintenance issues proactively Qualifications Experience in general building maintenance (plumbing, painting, tiling, etc.) Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment (preferred) Trade qualification (advantageous) Confident using hand tools and maintenance equipment Basic computer skills Good communication skills (written and verbal) Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks Additional Information The Mercure brand is part of the Accor Group.
