Job Description We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handyperson to join our maintenance team in Spring Hill, Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance tasks, ensuring our facilities are well-maintained and functional. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and able to handle diverse maintenance challenges. Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical work Execute high-quality painting work on interior and exterior surfaces Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify and address maintenance issues Prepare surfaces for repairs or improvements, including cleaning, sanding, and priming Install and repair fixtures, fittings, and furniture Maintain and organize tools and equipment Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors as needed Assist with grounds maintenance and landscaping tasks when required Document completed work and maintain accurate maintenance records Qualifications Proven experience as a handyperson or in a similar maintenance role Proficiency in various maintenance techniques, including carpentry, plumbing, and painting Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent time management and organizational abilities Knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Job-Category: Engineering & Maintenance Job Type: Permanent Job Schedule: Part-Time
