With multiple conference spaces and a sweeping indoor/outdoor F&B dining space this is an ideal opportunity for someone with a practical mindset who enjoys variety in their work and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Job Description We are looking for a motivated and reliable part-time handyperson to join our maintenance team and assist in keeping our property in top condition. What will you be doing? Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, painting, HVAC, and general upkeep of hotel facilities. Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and service areas are in excellent working order. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff. Conduct regular inspections of hotel equipment, machinery, and systems to identify potential issues. Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and materials, and request replacements as necessary. Assist with setup and breakdown for special events or room configurations. Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. Communicate effectively with hotel staff to address urgent maintenance concerns. Qualifications Your Skills and experience include: Previous experience working on the maintenance of hotels, fixed plant or equipment systems. Knowledge of preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance strategies. Good written and verbal communication skills. Self motivated person who takes a proactive approach to work and is punctual and reliable. Ability to accommodate flexibility with shifts.
