Barton & Gray Mariners Club is dedicated to providing its Members with unmatched experiences on the water, operating over 90 Yachts in 33 harbors, and offering a range of products including Day-boating, Sport-fishing, Overnight Cruising, and more. The Stew Ambassador enhances the member experience through harbor expertise and knowledge, 5 star hospitality and exceptional on board service. Barton & Gray Stew Ambassadors are expected to have a high level of hospitality and provide top level service to our members and their guests on and off the water. When on board a Barton & Gray vessel, the Stew Ambassador becomes the host for the member’s outing. They serve as ambassadors for the company with members in each harbor of oversight.  Key Responsibilities: Stew Ambassador Role Dockside: * Deliver 5-star hospitality with a deep understanding of the harbor, its amenities, restaurants, outing options and special events  * Gain a deep understanding of the B&G Day-boating experience and identify product gaps in current offerings * Welcome Members at dock, and serve as an ambassador for the company with Members in each harbor of oversight,  * Work in partnership with the Member Services team to offer Member experience opportunities as well as handle Member complaints  * Assist Sales and Events team with discovery days, demos, and events Stew Ambassador Role Onboard: * Welcome Members on board, assist with their belongings/bags, and discuss itinerary and timing for trip activities * Provide food and beverage service to Members & keep the vessel neat and clean * Host and entertain the Members and their guests * Posses a high level of knowledge of our cruising areas, and be able to discuss with Members and guests * Assist Captain with keeping watch during tubing, swimming, paddle boarding, snorkeling fishing activities * Assist Captain with cleaning vessel post outing Administrative Duties: * Monitor incoming emails  * Event RSVP Tracking  * Event Campaign creation and updates through sales software * Administration of http://Monday.comevent planning boards through software * On-site Event work in NYC and other markets when scheduling allows  * Future event research  * Other Miscellaneous tasks related to Barton & Gray Events and Marketing efforts Additional Skills & Requirements: * Minimum of two years of hospitality experience in fine dining, hotel, yachting, and/or country club environment * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, critical thinker and problem solver. * Strong communication skills, energetic, and personable  * Bartending experience is preferred * Maritime experience is preferred * Live within a commutable distance to one of our hiring markets: Greenwich, CT, The Hamptons, Nantucket, MA and NYC
