Hard Money Loan Underwriter (US Mortgage) Department: Operations Employment Type: Full Time Location: Client Compensation: ₱80,000 - ₱120,000 / month Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Hard Money Loan Underwriter to evaluate loan applications and assess borrower creditworthiness for fix-and-flip and investment property financing. This role requires a strong understanding of underwriting guidelines, risk assessment, and the ability to work closely with loan officers, borrowers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient loan processing. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough analysis of loan applications, including borrower financials, credit reports, and property evaluations. Assess borrower eligibility and repayment ability based on established underwriting guidelines. Work closely with loan officers, processors, brokers, and appraisers to collect and verify necessary documentation. Communicate with borrowers to provide updates, address document requirements, and explain loan terms. Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations while maintaining high underwriting standards. Identify potential risks and provide recommendations for loan approval, modification, or decline. Maintain accurate and organized records of loan files and underwriting decisions. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Experience in hard money or real estate investment lending. Strong knowledge of loan underwriting, credit analysis, and risk assessment. Proficiency in reviewing financial statements, property appraisals, and borrower documentation. Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with loan processing systems and regulatory compliance.
