LOCATION: TRINITY BUOY WHARF, LONDON, E14 0JW

We are looking for an experienced Hard Services Manager to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. This role will cover our Greenwich Schools contract
This role requires a senior Hard Services team member to manage the operational delivery of Hard FM services. Key duties include managing staff and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with KPIs and SLAs, and overseeing both planned and reactive maintenance. You’ll also provide operational guidance and support to the management team

Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of compliant hard services, ensuring all work aligns with strategic goals, legislation, and corporate policy. This will be achieved through the Hard Services Supervisor and Engineers, and within the allocated budget
  • Service & Compliance: Ensure consistent achievement of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will be the appointed responsible person for fire and water management and will manage all statutory and mandatory Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
  • Financial & Subcontractor Management: Monitor and control all engineering costs, including labor, materials, and fuel. Manage all Hard Services subcontractors, including performance meetings and competency checks.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the recruitment, induction, and development of Supervisors and Engineers. Manage all team relations issues, including performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
  • Operational Support: Provide technical expertise to the Regional Facilities Manager, attend client meetings, and work with the G4S Project Management Office to prepare Lifecycle & Maintenance plans for up to five years.
  • Innovation: Maintain knowledge of new technologies and products, ensuring they are commercially viable for the business.
