Your new role In your new role, you will provide support to the Contract Manager in the ongoing service delivery of Hard FM services on the Stockport Council contract. You will manage a multi discipline maintenance team and specialist supply chain to ensure all aspects of work are delivered within the service levels expected from the Client. You will also support with commercial and financial aspects of the contract delivery. What you’ll do: Ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of the Project Agreement and that all Buildings & Asset Maintenance KPIs have been achieved. Carry out asset verification across the estate, to ensure all major items of plant are recorded on the CAFM system, and when required add/delete assets following lifecycle and project works. Effectively plan PPM work for the maintenance team and sub-contractors using the FM CAFM system and update the system diary to reflect any changes in PPM dates. Closely liaise with the client to ensure that all works delivered are to the required standard, that there are no disruptions to the daily functioning of the Hospitals and where appropriate agree remedial works. Ensure optimum delivery of responsive and cyclical maintenance work is carried out on time and efficiently to meet defined performance expectations. Liaise with suppliers to ensure that RFM obtain the best prices for materials and parts, and to market test suppliers on a regular basis to ensure best value. About you: To be successful in your application, you will have relevant experience in managing a multi-disciplined Facilities Management services team, plus experience using CAFM and BMS systems. You will be able to demonstrate awareness of statutory requirements for compliance such as HTMs and HBNs. You will have experience with planning and mobilising a reliable FM service, able to balance the need for quality and profit, alongside budget management and able to drive efficiency. Due to the multi-site nature of this role, a valid UK Driving Licence is required. The successful candidate will require a Basic DBS Check before starting in the job.
