Qualifications: Capable of learning how to operate required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner Effective communication skills (verbally and written) Time management skills Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices Ability to work both independently, with little supervision and as part of a team Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout a day Valid driver’s license Key Requirements: Assist in the preparation of jobsites prior to the beginning of a project Operate various tools and equipment, including: chainsaws, chop saws, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc. Assist in the construction of walkways, fences, decks, patios, walls, etc. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning daily Dig ditches or trenches Perform land clearing activities Plant and maintain garden beds and lawns Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape construction projects Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying Assist foreman with job-related tasks Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to perform work activities What We Offer: Competitive Pay Weekly bonuses obtainable Opportunities for advancement Training and Development Health, Dental and Vision Paid time off Retirement Plan Referral Program Smith Lawnscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer Requirements The ideal candidate is eager to learn how to safely operate landscape and construction equipment and possesses strong communication and time management skills. Responsibilities

Assist in the construction of hardscape features like walkways, patios, and walls while preparing job sites. Operate various power tools and equipment to perform land clearing, digging, and planting activities.
