Our Shaw Brick division is seeking a Hardscapes Specialist - NB & PEI (Bilingual). The successful candidate will be passionate about hardscape solutions with a consultative approach to sales. The Hardscapes Specialist - NB & PEI will take initiative and ownership in building and maintaining relationships with designers, contractors, and project owners.

Key Responsibilities & Priorities:

• Develop relationships with designers, contractors, and project owners throughout NB & PEI.
• Identify clients needs, wants, and wishes, and provide accurate estimates or proposals for relevant hardscape products.
• Call on a variety of construction professionals and specifiers to develop and manage commercial paver and retaining wall opportunities through to completion.
• Review architectural specifications and construction drawings to determine project solutions.
• Collaborate across Shaw divisions and retail stores to provide customers a positive experience from start to finish.
• Provide insights and feedback to the production team from the market on new trends, product development and potential product enhancements.
• Conduct site visits to provide consultations, meet with installers, and take photos of successful projects
• Provide technical support to landscape architects and contractors for ongoing projects.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Highly organized, ability to multitask, and customer service oriented.
• Experience calling on architects, engineers, developers, contractors is an asset.
• Experience working within landscape or related industry will be preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a technical role, preferably in the construction or landscaping industry.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering, landscape architecture, or a related field.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong understanding of architectural specifications and drawings.
• Proficiency in CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant technical software.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
• Bilingual preferred
